DREAM-SMC-RNA

The ICGC-TCGA DREAM Somatic Mutation Calling RNA Challenge (SMC-RNA) compared computational methods for analyzing cancer RNA-sequencing data. Participants developed methods to detect gene fusions and quantify transcript isoforms, both of which can reveal changes in tumor biology.

The challenge was organized with the International Cancer Genome Consortium, The Cancer Genome Atlas, Sage Bionetworks, and IBM-DREAM. It is now closed. Visit the SMC-RNA project on Synapse for its challenge materials.
